- Death certificate (if the bridegroom / bride is a widower / widow) – apostille stamp is required
- Certificate of change of surname / name / patronymic – Apostille stamp is required
- Certificate of civil status and the absence of obstacles to marriage (Ehefähigkeitszeugniss) is issued at the place of residence – apostille stamp is required
- Certificate from the place of residence (Aufenthaltsbescheinigung) is issued at the place of residence – apostille stamp is required
Important: Newlyweds must bring original documents with them to the Czech Republic.
