Clementinum is a large complex of Baroque buildings built in the very center of Prague in 1535. Nowadays, Clementinum is the second largest historical complex in Prague after Prague Castle. Clementinum is located near the famous Charles Bridge. Wedding ceremonies are held in the Mirror Chapel, a unique place not only for Prague but for the whole Czech Republic. The chapel received its name from an abundance of mirrors, located on the walls and inserted into the stucco of the dome. Decoration, dome frescoes and paintings in the interior of the chapel are dedicated to the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary. The chapel is famous for its excellent acoustics.
